An enchanting installation steeped in history

Loro Piana’s captivating installation at Bergdorf Goodman celebrates the House’s links to the iconic luxury retailer and its decade-spanning fascination with New York – a city that has always held a special place in the Maison’s heart. Much like a second home, the metropolis was frequently visited by Sergio Loro Piana and Pier Luigi Loro Piana, and the city’s vibrant art scene and lively mode de vie inspired them to transform Loro Piana from fabric-maker to luxury Maison. Now, these historic links are brought to life through evocative windows and an illuminated façade on Fifth Avenue that recount Loro Piana’s story and its search for uniqueness, from fibres to distinct silhouette.

Loro Piana at Bergdorf Goodman, an enchanting installation is on display until 3rd November.

Craft in the smallest details

The dedicated windows are made with a lot of passion, care, and workmanship down to the smallest features, much like Loro Piana’s ready-to-wear creations. The arrangements feel effortlessly placed, with finishing touches completed by hand.

A rich fusion of creativity and heritage

Animated with rotating globes, the signature thistle, and Bergdorf Goodman exclusives such as the Central Park foulard, the window displays narrate the House’s history and its far-roaming voyages, from raw fibres to finished product. They trace a poetic journey from Mongolia to Italy, through to New York and the signature retailer.

A curation of Bergdorf Goodman exclusives

To mark the incredible installation, Loro Piana has designed a selection of special products only found at the New York City landmark. From the elegant Rebecca flat in tweed through to novel interpretations of classic silhouettes, the creations are timeless and elevated, bound by a tightly edited palette.
